It’s time to hit the waves — art style! In this workshop, artists will explore different painting techniques to create an ocean full of movement, colour and energy. Once their waves are looking just right, they’ll sketch and paint their own surfers riding the swell — maybe a big wave champion, a learner catching their first wave, or a group of friends surfing together. They’ll add extra details (e.g a seagull, a fish or two) to personalise their artwork further and finish their summer-inspired masterpiece.

About the Teacher:
Di Riepsamen is a passionate and experienced primary school teacher who started out in the classroom and discovered a love of the visual arts. She teaches term classes and school holiday workshops to kids who want to experience a wide variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, mixed-media, clay, construction and more.
