Submarine Stories
Age: 8+
Friday 17th April@2pm – 3:30pm
Dive beneath the waves and create your own submarine adventure!
Artists will design and draw their own submarine — inspired by cartoons and/or realistic images. They’ll add windows, gadgets and other interesting details.Then the real storytelling begins! What’s happening around the submarine? Are sea creatures swimming past? Is there a hidden treasure nearby? Has something surprising appeared in the deep? After sketching out their ideas, artists will bring their underwater scene to life using materials and a style of their choosing — shading, colour pencil, fineliner, bold details and/or other options.
Every submarine story will be completely different — and full of imagination and creativity!

About the Teacher:
Di Riepsamen is a passionate and experienced primary school teacher who started out in the classroom and discovered a love of the visual arts. She teaches term classes and school holiday workshops to kids who want to experience a wide variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, mixed-media, clay, construction and more.
