Let us engage and inspire your children these school holidays. We have a variety of classes on offer for ages 5+. From wild creating to calmly paced painting, designing and sketching – we’re sure there will be something for everyone!

About our 2026 Winter Holiday Workshops
Sessions are between 90 minutes – 2 hours
All materials are included and children are welcome to bring a snack
and drink bottle – creating art can be hungry and thirsty work! No nuts please.
Wednesday 1st July
Alpaca Drama
Artists will enjoy the hilarious story Macca the Alpaca before painting their own fluffy alpaca using simple shapes and layering techniques.
Along the way, they’ll explore colour mixing, texture and how to create soft white fur with paint while adding their own playful personality and contrasting background.

Dazzling Unicorns on Canvas
After reading Thelma the Unicorn, artists will paint their own bold and colourful unicorn (or pony) filled with vibrant colours, fancy accessories and playful patterns.
From dazzling manes to party-inspired backgrounds, this workshop is all about imagination, storytelling and celebrating what makes us unique.

Pattern-o-saurus
Are chickens really related to dinosaurs? Artists will discover the answer in the funny story The Truth About Dinosaurs before creating their own patterned dinosaur artwork.
Using stencils, paint brushes, texture tools, oil pastels and paint pens, they’ll layer colours, patterns and details to bring their dinosaur roaring to life.

Petal Party on Canvas
Big, bold and bursting with colour! In this playful painting workshop, artists will paint a vibrant flower artwork using different colours for every petal, leaf and stem — no drawing required.
Once their painting is dry, they’ll use Posca pens to add patterns, line work and decorative details that make their artwork truly pop.

Friday 3rd July
Lion in the Bathtub on Canvas
Artists will create a bold and expressive painting of a lion roaring in the bathtub while exploring storytelling through art.
Along the way, they’ll learn how to build an underpainting, layer colour and combine texture, composition and imaginative details to create a rich and vibrant final artwork full of personality.

Mini Mural Makers
Murals tell stories and bring personality to spaces — and now artists will design their own! In this hands-on workshop, artists will build a mini wall, paint their own mural design and then create the surrounding landscape using a variety of construction and sculptural materials.
A playful mixed-media session for artists who love designing, building and making.
