Get ready for a colourful adventure! In this class, young artists will explore painting techniques while experimenting with different tools, surfaces and creative prompts. It’s all about discovering what paint can do — splattering, layering, blending and more — in fun, imaginative ways. Each week offers opportunities to build skills and confidence, while also making space for artists to follow their own creative paths. This isn’t about creating a perfect painting —it’s about diving into the process, discovering what’s possible, and building skills through creative exploration. Whether they’re new to painting or already love it, this class is sure to be oodles of messy fun.

About the Teacher:
Di Riepsamen is a passionate and experienced primary school teacher who started out in the classroom and discovered a love of the visual arts. She teaches term classes and school holiday workshops to kids who want to experience a wide variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, mixed-media, clay, construction and more.
