Capture the feeling of a warm summer’s day on the beach. In this workshop, artists will paint a classic beach scene — soft sand, gentle waves and a bright sky above.. They’ll learn how to blend colours smoothly to create depth, movement and light — from the shimmer of the surf to the glow of the summer sky. While the paint dries, artists will sketch and colour a self-portrait with their surfboard, then paste it into their scene for a fun, personal touch.

Riley is a passionate exhibiting artist and experienced art educator who has taught workshops and classes in both Melbourne and Arizona. Originally from the USA, she brings a playful, imaginative energy to her teaching and loves inspiring creativity in kids and adults alike.
