Leap into spring with these creative holiday workshops!

Let us engage and inspire your children these school holidays. We have a variety of classes on offer for ages 5+. From wild creating to calmly paced painting, designing and sketching – we’re sure there will be something for everyone!

About our 2026 Spring Holiday Workshops

Sessions are between 90 minutes – 2 hours

All materials are included and children are welcome to bring a snack
and drink bottle – creating art can be hungry and thirsty work! No nuts please.

Wednesday 30th September

Angler Fish on Canvas

Dive into the mysterious world of the deep sea! Artists will discover the weird and wonderful angler fish before creating their own glowing, textured painting on canvas.

They’ll experiment with colour, light, texture and transparent materials to create the eerie glow of the deep ocean, adding layers and unexpected details to bring their strange sea creature to life.

Wednesday 30th September

Coral Reef Sculptures

Pasta, sponges, dried flowers and beads become a colourful underwater world! Artists will sculpt, build and experiment as they create their own vibrant coral reef filled with twisting coral, intricate patterns and sea creatures of their choice.

With plenty of colourful materials to explore and endless possibilities for what might live beneath the waves, every reef will become its own unique underwater world.

Thursday 1st October

Printmaking Magic

What happens when everyday objects become art-making tools? In this playful, experimental workshop, artists will explore printmaking using unexpected materials, shapes and textures to stamp, press and layer prints across the page.

They’ll create multiple prints to take home — some transformed into imaginative pictures and others simply beautiful abstract artworks filled with colour, pattern and texture.

Thursday 1st October

Spooky Cats on Canvas

Spooky, mysterious and just a little bit magical! Artists will create their own Halloween-inspired canvas while exploring colour, contrast and silhouette. With curious cats, twisted trees and plenty of room for bats, webs and other spooky surprises, they’ll have fun adding their own imaginative details to bring their eerie scene to life.

Friday 2nd October

Dragonflies on Canvas

Light, colour and a little bit of magic! Artists will explore how paint and different brushstrokes can create the feeling of light dancing across a canvas as they bring their dragonfly scene to life.

They’ll experiment with flat and round brushes, play with colour, movement and shape and discover different ways to make their own vibrant, light-filled artwork.

Friday 2nd October

What could it be? Paper Collage Creations

This workshop is all about imagination, ideas and creating an original artwork! Every artist will begin with the same simple paper bauble — but could it become a basketball, a planet, a flower, a bubblegum bubble or something completely unexpected?

They’ll brainstorm, sketch and plan their idea, then bring it to life using torn and textured papers, fabric, cardboard and other collage materials, making creative decisions and adding details as their artwork takes shape.

January School Holiday Workshops

This was a fantastic school holiday activity. The kids were kept busy for 3 hours, and produced some beautiful artwork by the end. Their teacher, Di, was just lovely. So engaging but also so knowledgeable and was really able to talk to the kids at their level. I would definitely recommend it.
